What is tyre load index?
The tyre load index shows the maximum load a tyre is designed to carry when used correctly.
When changing tyre size, the replacement tyre must still be suitable for the vehicle, axle load and intended use.
Why size alone is not enough
A tyre may have a similar rolling diameter but still have an unsuitable load rating, speed rating or fitment profile.
